Should kids spend more time with older people? An important study says that it helps to boost reading and social skills. Some think that schools should be linked up with old people’s homes.

A study says that children who mix with older people have more confidence and better reading skills.

Meanwhile, old people who spend time with kids are less lonely. Everybody wins!

“There are big benefits for children and younger people,” said the director of the group, United for All Ages.

The study recommends that schools and nurseries should do more visits to old people’s homes.

This happens on the Channel 4 show, Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds. Now, 81-year-old Beryl calls four-year-old Scarlett her “best friend”.
